We are a team of mostly young adults, each with some type of disability. All of our core advisory board members have disabilities. Our goal is to see the stereotypes that keep people from interacting with people who have disabilities, and keep them out of the workforce, erased.
Bachelor's in Disability's purpose is to educate employers and the general public on respectful treatment of people who have disabilities. We will do this by providing engaging articles and brief videos shared through social media.
We ask the public what questions you have about disability and people with disabilities. Then we use your questions to create videos with a more serious tone than what has been done before; something we think hasn't been tried yet.
In Stage 1, we want people without disabilities to anonymously send us their questions about disabilities. We encourage those awkward questions that you don't feel comfortable asking someone in-person.
In Stage 2, we will take those questions and turn them into very short videos. Some videos may have a longer blog post attached to them.
These videos and blogs will be posted on the blog page, and shared on our social media. Follow us!
If you are disabled and want to share your perspective, please submit a video or blog!
